Report a problem
Something not working in a Gravy mod? Tell us what happened and add your log file, so we can find the bug and fix it.
The easiest way is the Report a problem button in the Gravy Mod Menu (Beta 2 and later). It fills everything in for you, and after a crash it offers to send the crash on the next start. Use this page when the game won't start or the menu isn't there.
Before you report, have a look at the known issues and the troubleshooting answers in the FAQ. Your problem might already have a fix.
Find your log file
The file is called LogOutput.log. The game replaces it every time it starts, so pick it right after the problem happens, before you start the game again.
Windows
In Steam, right-click SimplePlanes 2, then Manage, Browse local files. Open the BepInEx folder.
Linux and Steam Deck
The same in Steam (on Steam Deck, in Desktop Mode). The folder is usually:
~/.local/
The .local folder is hidden. Press Ctrl+H in the file picker to show it.
Check what will be sent
Spotted something private? Change the description, or edit the log in a text editor and pick it again. Changing anything above hides this preview until you check again.
What gets sent
Your description, the mod you picked, the error lines from your log and its last 3,000 lines, plus the game and BepInEx versions, which Gravy mods you have, and your operating system.
Before anything is sent, this page takes out folder names with your user name in them, Steam IDs, email addresses and IP addresses. You see the result before you send it.
Reports are only used to fix bugs, and they're deleted after 90 days. We don't ask for contact details. Your IP address is only kept in scrambled form, to limit how many reports one connection can send and to spot the same report sent twice. It isn't part of your report.
